I developed this a few months ago and its on my bottom lip. It isnt sore at all, just unsightly. After googling I see its quite common, I dont want it cauterised as there is no guarantee it wont come back. It seems to be caused by biting lips, didnt know I did this!

anyone else got one?

As with any new mole/persistent ulcer - Go and get it checked by a dentist.

I was at the dentist last week, he asked is this a cold sore and I just said yes, didn't occur to me to ask him anything, will maybe see if it goes away or go and see him again

Do you get cold sores? Is this a typical cold sore for you?
If it's been there a few months, I would go back and ask him to assess it. You may need a referral to a hospital department, or a biopsy.
I don't mean to worry you, most blisters and ulcers are perfectly innocent, but like lesions on the skin, anything new or slightly unusual needs checking out properly.

is it a venous lake? maybe treat with laser?

it is like that but sort of with hard skin on top to create a little bump. It does look like its starting to get smaller, I'll see how it goes
