When did your period start again after having your baby?

A bit of a personal question I'm afraid. If you don't feel comfortable answering, please don't!

Also, let me know if you were breastfeeding, formula feeding or a bit of both as interested to see how much of a difference that makes.

I am doing both and no period yet at 8 weeks. Not sure how long it'll be, we'll see.

I bf my dd for 7 months, no periods (bonus). When I stopped bf I had a month with no period. Then it came back!

I didn't use contraceptive after they came back as I waned my body to get back into it's natural cycle, I had two periods and got pregnant!
I had a friend who also ebf, her period was back within 3 weeks, luck of the draw I think.

I think, for me bf was the only thing stopping me from getting periods back earlier but it obviously isn't a reliable contraceptive as many, I'm sure, can vouch for!!

DD1, didn't bf, period at 6 weeks.
DD2, bf for ten days, period at 8 weeks.

Ebf- period came back at about 7 -8 months. It was about a month after she started having solids. She loved eating, and I knew she was cutting back on breast milk as my breasts went quite hard again like they do in the first few weeks when you're establishing how much to produce!

About 9 months after ds, bottle fed but expressed for the first month.

Dd is 9 months old has been ebf until 6 months when I introduced solids but still bf 7,10,2,7 and mostly three to four times overnight!!!

dc1, ff, can't remember as too long ago!
dc2, bf, until I stopped feeding at 4 months old
dc3, bf, 6 weeks
dc4, bf - had the mirena coil fitted at 3 weeks so no idea

Bah. Missed the most important question

Periods returned when dd was 4 months (think it was due to the pill because I came off it) then nothing until 6 months and I've had regular periods ever since.

Dc1 enf period at 10 weeks, dc2 ebf period at 8 weeks, dc3 is 5 weeks old and tiny (older d both whoppers) do feeding ebf every 2-3 hours period returned sat. At 5 weeks?? Robbed!!!

DTDs bf to 8 weeks. 1st period at 6 months (ish).

I exclusively bf all 4 of mine and all 4 times first period at around 6 weeks post birth. I was looking forward to another year of no periods, as I bf for at least 12 months with each of them.

I was formula feeding after three weeks of breast feeding. I had a period after two months then I didn't have another for five months, but regular again after that.

DC 1 & 2 9 months when they started on formula.

DC3 still not period at 11 months, BF only.

Stopped bleeding after 5 weeks. Period came 2 weeks after that. I was combo feeding BF and FF at the time.
