Could my wisdom tooth be giving me ear pain?

3 of my wisdom teeth came through in my early twenties, now, nearly 20 yrs later, the 4th is trying to make an appearance. It is wonky however. The dentist is keeping an eye on it. I was there about 4 wks ago and no apparent problems.

Fr the past couple of days, I have had a feeling of pressure in the area, as though all my teeth are pushing against each other, and also have had horrible earache. It is all fine with paracetamol.

Is it likely to be the tooth, and will it settle down, or shall I make an appt. they wouldn't be able to do anything straight way as I'd have to be referred to get it taken out at the hospital.

Shall I wait and see?

Yes it can >.

It might settle but would make an appointment in case there's any infection going on etc.

I had all my wisdom teeth out and one had something called a dry socket afterwards. I had no pain in my mouth from it, just excruciating earache. The dentist said the same nerve goes from that area up towards the ear so you can get referred pain from the tooth into the ear.
