Another tooth question.

I saw our new dentist a couple of months ago and she said I will probably need a filling next time I go.

I have never had any fillings or real treatment, but wouldn't I have some sort of toothache if I needed a filling? Or some kind of sign?

Anyone know?

You can have a cavity forming with no pain and it wodul be hard for you to see espeically in a bakc tooth. By the time you'd have toothache it it would be quite far gone.

You only get pain when the decay is getting nearer the nerve.
