baby head lump

i have found a peasized softish lump on the back of my 7 week old baby's head. It doesn't seem to be tender and is mobile. have got GP appointment fro tomorrow but panicking a bit. Any ideas? Grateful for any thoughts.

my chap has them , they are just cysts or sometimes (depending where they are) they are wee glands. not much to worry about, should go away in time. only need looked at if they get bigger redder angrier etc

thank you so much chapsmum - was looking at rubbish on internet and worrying. Does your baby have them at the back of the head?

yip one on either side about and inch and a half up from shere his neck meets his head IYSWIM and he also has them under his ears (a bit higher up than his glands)

But is having only one odd? Wonder if that suggest not glands?

doesnt realy suggest anything, you can have a glds raised on one or both sides, or like they told me about the chap it was just a harmless cyst. He had one bigish one the size of a pea and one less noticable one. they said only to worry if it looked angry or got bigger or he seemed bothered by it.

My baby has one which has got a bit bigger - from half to a whole biggish pea I'd say - anyone any experience of this? - am doing pre-GP fretting...
