Just this really. What age does it start and what are the symptoms? I think I might be going through it and I'm 36.

Bumping for you.

I am 49 and think I have had symptoms for past couple of years - mainly mood swings but some physical too.

It varies but usually not before late 40s.
A friend and her DD both had their last period at 41 and never had anything or any symptoms since, or before that.

Another had problems with no periods for 4 months then non-stop for 2 months at 43. Also terrible hot flushes at night and during the day
Another was on the pill untill 55 and had no symptoms at all.

There is an FSH blood test - Folicular Stimulating Hormone blood test which can show if if you are having problems with ovulating.

At 36 it is most unlikely that you are going through it.
