Mirena removal - what should I expect afterwards?

I'm having mirena taken out by hysteroscopy on Friday. I've had it for three years and hate it, the strings have gone missing, its in position but the gynae just couldn't grab it Hmm

So I've got to have it taken out by hysteroscopy on Friday, they are doing it through cervix, not by keyhole. I'm not worried about pain etc.

Just wondering what I can expect afterwards, how soon will I get my period? Will it be really heavy, as they were heavy before? Can I expect a hormone crash etc?

Can I expect to lose weight, get my motivation back?

Thanks

No advice, but plenty of good luck wishes.
