And am Ignoring the smear tests asi need a repeat as last one inconclusive. I have bit of awkward cervix plus my bits were nuked during radio so it is very tender down there (think what it was like post stitches if had them) so it isn't the nicest thing.

We could have quite a gallery of fanjo pics what with all our various ishoos.

topsyturner · 17/04/2013 08:57

I haven't been back for my (much over due , naughty I know !) smear .
As I too am I possessor of a tilted uterus . And the last time I was in the nurse said "give me a bit of notice next time and I'll order in an extra long speculum" ......... ShockShockShock

Morning All
Feeling a bit shitty today .
Woke up at 2am with sharp stabby pains in my ribs under my mx scar .
I got up and took some pain killers , which actually worked .
But then I stayed awake convincing myself that the rib pain was a new massive Super Tumour growing .

I now have a thumping headache .

Sigh , who is on breakfast duty ?
You allowed to eat as normal today Gigs ???

notJenkins · 17/04/2013 09:18

Wading in to sit my huge arse on the paranoia box for you topsy

I can't join in the cervix talk but my left ear peeled yesterday.

We are off for the 1st camping night this year in the van today. We are heading to the purbecks so fingers crossed for some sunshine.

Throwing bargain Waitrose bakery croissants on the trolley and then running off to get ready for our trip.

Gigondas · 17/04/2013 09:29

Yeah so am eating like a steroid deranged maniac.

Will sit next to gigs for you. Ime of super tumours topsy they don't appear over night.

And do you not think that rib pain could be due to crocheting or something you have done in day. I imagine rib and lat muscles all mucked - I know my Pilates guy says that getting muscles back in rib/lat area is a nightmare. But gentle squeeze of reassurance .

Gigondas · 17/04/2013 09:29

Have a fab time notjenkins Smile

smee · 17/04/2013 09:37

Huge amounts of luck today, Gigs. At least it'll be another part of the rebuild done. Will be thinking of you lots, especially tomorrow. xx Smile

My DH doesn't talk about feelings either. Must be something to do with post war men. Most annoying though when you just know they need to wail and gnash a bit. Am lucky though, as DH doesn't sound as tricky as yours Copt. Good he's going to Counselling, as at least he's admitting he has things to sort.

Topsy, ache's probably gut related after your weekend. I get a lot of pain in exact same place, so right under my mx. Had it before diagnosis and still do. Have had two bone scans and nothing showed. They told me it was most likely IBS, so phew and hooray for that. Grin

Kurri, did you get to speak to your GP?? When's blood test? Hope soon.

Ouch and ouch again over smears. My last one wasn't too bad. Worst for me was when I was recalled three times as they hadn't taken enough of a sample. Hmm

Have a nice coffee, MAS. Brentford sounds like it should be in the '70's. Are you wearing flares? Grin

Better do some work, so am waving to all. Pouring Brew for all, and piling hot crumpets onto trolley. Smile

smee · 17/04/2013 09:39

x-posted with you NotJ. Did you really say camping?! Shock

notJenkins · 17/04/2013 09:41

Yes camping but we have a camper can with a fridge and cooker and comfy big bed so it is posh camping Grin perhaps I ought to point that out to dh who is packing for an Everest attempt.

I will put some pictures on FB later if they have 3G in deepest darkest Dorset.

smee · 17/04/2013 09:45

Shock Everest?! Grin

notJenkins · 17/04/2013 09:47

I will be thinking of you tomorrow gigs and may not have mn access. I am sure the 2 weeks will pass quickly and you will be home all rebuilt before you know it.

topsyturner · 17/04/2013 10:19

Well ofcourse my rib pain has nothing to do with my weekend of debauchery , or the coughing fits I've been having at nights .
It's definitely a Super Tumour ... Grin

smee · 17/04/2013 10:25

You should take up smoking, Topsy. That'd help. Grin

Gigondas · 17/04/2013 10:35

If my tumour is Katherine Jenkins (the thought of removing her has cheered me up), topsy debauchery tumour must look like this tumour.

topsyturner · 17/04/2013 10:45

Hahaha !!!!
Loving my Keith Tumour !

Hmm maybe smoking would help ?
I can picture me with a pipe ... Grin

smee · 17/04/2013 10:54

Grin at Keith.

Gigondas · 17/04/2013 11:07

Watching funeral now when should be packing.

smee · 17/04/2013 11:12

I should be working and put it on while more coffee brewing. Norman Tebbit's shrunk..!

KurriKurri · 17/04/2013 11:23

sitting on the paranoia box to help keep Keith in his place

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/04/2013 13:41

notj - am impressed by camping - have fun, post pictures !
Good luck with arranging blood test dear kk - maybe GP just wants to see how you're doing ?
I confess to watching bits of beginning of funeral procession - like gig I am intruiged by ceremony etc - I didn't go to Brentford smee - my friend came to me and we had coffee and croissant in the Italian cafe (she had chocolate and pistachio cake) and a good catch up. There is nothing nice to go to in my old home town,sadly..not like Kew or Twick Grin

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/04/2013 13:42

the Keef tumour is scary ! Is there a Myleene Klass one too ?

OP posts:
Copthallresident · 17/04/2013 14:42

Ha ha ha! Grin at Keith supertumour of drink and debauchery, presumably means you can abuse your body as much as you want and still keep rocking, also be inspiration to Jonny Depp and have nights of drinking and denbauchery with him Grin

Though actually I too get pain in ribcage just below mastectomy scar and though I can throw bone and liver tumours in paranoia box it can go into spasm when I do sit ups so not a frequent problem which suggests it is muscular.

We do have an interesting range of down unders don't we? I am trying to be positive about mine in that haven't had that pain there since childbirth It's actually second incident that provoked feelings of violation as got overly zealously searched at airport on way out and when she reached my bra she eyed me suspiciously so I whispered "it's a prosthesis" to which she replied "a what" and I said "a prosthesis" even more suspicious look, so I shouted A PROSTHESIS and her boss had to call her over to explain Angry I was so seething with anger I walked off into the airport without my shoes, and didn't realise until I got to the duty free. I have a blood test booked on Friday and I am quite worried these things may come in threes ........

However big Copt did point out that the mastectomy did open up the possibility of a new career as a drug mule.........

my bolter also a joker as you can currently see on my facebook Hmm

MAS Yes we have Vince and he is good and very accessible local MP. He walks around in a rather dashing fedora and seems a genuinely nice and sensible man, when Camden were threatening to send big Copt to prison for their cock up of her Council tax bill I emailed him and he replied that it was clearly unfair and he would address the principle in parliament but he could not deal with Camden because it wasn't his constituency However " I will pop the papers down to Glenda's office and ask her to help" I had visions of him and Glenda Jackson waltzing around the office clutching big Copts Council tax bill Grin

NJ Love the sound of glamorous campervanning, v jealous

gigs sending lots of soothing vibes, and all the girls remaining lego .....

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/04/2013 16:24

Grin @ Vince 'n' Glenda !
how dreadful about the airport frisking -grrr.
I daren't ever look at my undercarriage as i know the episiotomy scar is huge (ds wasn't big but they had to accomodate cutlery and ventouse, poor love) it's not something I care to think about.

OP posts:
Gigondas · 17/04/2013 16:30

Think myleene was the original huge tumour on my arse Grin. Only I could get cancer that was a giant boil on my arse.

Waiting to check in at hospital so back later.

Gigondas · 17/04/2013 19:18

Where are you all? Am banged up in posh chokey . It's quite nice and oddly feel calmer now am here.

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/04/2013 19:39
