Tetralysal to clear up post pregnancy spots - will it work?

During pregnancy I suffered with very bad skin on my jaw line, neck and back. I hoped it would clear up as soon as DS was born but it actually got worse. I went to the doctor who prescribed me Duac cream as there was nothing stronger I could have due to breast feeding.

Now I have stopped breast feeding, and Duac hasn't made any difference, so this morning I was prescribed Tetralysal capsules.

Has anyone else taken these and had positive results? I'm on a 3 month course, which seems like forever. I hope they clear up soon as it's really starting to get me down. The doctor said "off the record" that the sun would help and suggested going on a sunbed a couple of times - which seemed a bit strange!! But I actually would try anything if it clears it up.

It did wonders for my rosacea. Seriously, the results were very impressive.

The only downside was that it made me slightly nauseous. I ended up losing a bit of weight, which wasn't the intention at all, because I couldn't eat as much as usual.

Hope it works for you.

I'm pretty sure you are supposed to avoid bright sunshine with tetracyclines....I'd check your drug leaflet before booking that sunbed!

Thanks for the info, i'll definitely avoid the sunbed and monitor how I go with the nausea. Here's hoping it clears up the spots soon.
