Joint Pain After 4 weeks of Giving Birth

It's been 4 weeks and this week I have started to get joint pain in my legs and lower back. I am EBF and I had a normal birth. Is it normal to feel like this?

Your ligaments are still soft from the relaxin, and will remain so until 3 months after you STOP bf. if you are getting pain, it probably is due to your back muscles doing all the work in stabilising your pelvis.

This overwork of the muscles can cause them to spasm and squeeze the sciatic nerve, hence the pains down your leg.

This is the problem I had and was referred to physiotherapy.
I've been going to Physio for 5 months now and will have my last session next week, as finally I'm all better.

If I were you, I would go to the GP and ask to be referred to Physio. If it is what I had, it won't go away by itself and will cause pain when you walk etc.
Hope you get it sorted.
