I have a lump on the roof of my mouth

It's about the size of an apple seed. It's solid and hurts when I put pressure on it - it's very odd

Has anyone had anything like this and what did it turn out to be? Also if i need to go and see someone is it gp or dentist?

I would see a dentist. They are so much better with infections or strange goings on in the mouth. We had a disaster with dd2 who had some strange lumps in her mouth which were dismissed by two GP's, but turned out to be a massive infection in her gum. Luckily caught just in time by the dentist...

Where exactly is it? How far up from your tooth is it towards the highest bit of your palate? Do you have a bad taste in your mouth? Do you have lots of fillings. Definitely dentist, GP has no diagnostic tools such as radiographs, transillumination to look for fractures, vitality testers to look for dead teeth and the like.

Yes exactly as you describe

It went away after a couple of weeks. Just one of those things.

I wouldn't panic yet! Smile

I have had that inn the past and it went away by itself
wonder what it is?

It could be a dead tooth that occasionally pushes it's pus out through your gum.
