Random rash that comes and goes - like a nettle sting

I have been having it for about 2 weeks. It comes up in little clumps, just as if I have been rolling around in a nettle patch. It comes up predominately on my shoulders, neck and breasts, although I sometimes get patches on my arms and legs.

When it comes through it prickles/itches and is generally uncomfortable, but then vanishes after an hour, only for another patch to come up somewhere else. It seems worse in an evening, and anti-histamenes don't seem to help.

Does anyone know what is causing it? I have not changed washing powder or deoderant, and it's coming up at home and at work, so it can't be an individual plant. I've never had anything like it before.

If I went to the doctors I can guarantee there wouldn't be a spot on my body, and then when I walked out of the surgery they would be back 10 minutes later.

Any ideas please????

Could it be a heat rash? It reminds me of the sudden flare ups I had as a teen. Mine just disappeared of their own accord, perhaps it's hormonal?
I do sympathise though.

DH suggested that, but given that I am currently itching and shivering simultaneously, I suspect not.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

shingles? I would go to the docs and get that checked out!
