If I go to the NHS walk in centre, will they judge me on my not too mild hangover?

I cant sstop coughing, it hurts and I have had to put on sanitary wear. dd is the same, we have both had colds so am thinking that it could be a secondary infection.
But I drank too much wine last night and I am still a wee bit tipsy, they will take one look at me and judge and think i am moaning about nothing wont they? One of the main reasons I drank too much is that if liquid is passing my lips my chest hurts less, I know in the ideal world that liquid should be water or tea and it will be from this point onward.

Erm I would wait til you're not breathing out vast alcohol fumes TBH and get showered first but they won't be massively bothered and some of them may be a bit hungover too, it is sunday morning Grin

I would suggest water and coffee, as much as you can handle first. Hot steamy shower and then you should look less of a lush :o

I have a horrible cough too and it is miserable.

And they should judge you too much the nurse at a&e was lovely with me thins week after I fell off my heels whilst under the influence and did the ligaments in y foot! Apparently we can't all live like saints! I liked her!

a shower, I didnt even think of that oh dear. I thought we should try and go soon so there wont be many people there. poor old dd is much worse than me (not on the hangover) and if she need some antibiotics sooner would be better.

Shower = good idea, steam might relieve it a bit too. Can dd sit in the bathroom with you? Or is that weird?

ditavonteesed · 03/03/2013 07:21

she would quite happily come in shower with me thats a really good idea. poor love I heard her about half five and she has not stopped coughing since.

Oh that's good then, i wasn't sure how old she was, at 13/14 I don't think I would have wanted to share a shower with my mum! 5/6 no problem!

Hedgepig · 03/03/2013 07:26

I'm sure the people at the medical centre won't bat an eye lid, but please don't drive to get there you could still be over the limit if your hangover is that bad.

ditavonteesed · 03/03/2013 07:28

oh dont worry, dh is driving, family outing yay

Diva, turning up in OOH esp with a child smelling like a distillery is not a good idea.

Wait until you;ve sobered up

ditavonteesed · 03/03/2013 10:08

well just gotback, we are both viral so no antibiotics which is good, now we are going to hole up in my bed for the day with a film while dh and dd2 wait on us hand and foot. Hangover is complety gone so maybe wasnt too bad, just mixed with being ill.

Sounds like a plan. Put Vick on your feet and fluffy socks. I swear it works on chesty coughs. Your feet absorb the essential oils better or something like that!

ditavonteesed · 03/03/2013 10:22

I had forgotten that trick, just done us so hopefully get some good napping in now.
