Had asthma attack this Eve due to being in a house for 15 min with budgie cigarette smoke and rabbit. I touched the rabbit ()I used to have one and thought it would be OK, it wasn't! () anyway asthma calmed down had inhalers on way home and a neb with Ventolin and saline at home. Would probably be breathless on exertion now but OK resting. Am crazily itchy though! Head, under arms, wrist, legs! Taken all my truck meds plus two piritnn tablets. Not helping.

Can it still be from the house? Even though was not immediately itchy?

Could my body have an elevated level of histamine or something from asthma that making me itchy? I don't usually get itchy after an attack!

well if I were you I would call NHS direct or get yourself to A&E. If the piriton etc is not helping and you had an asthma attack earlier, then you could have another attack later on or go into shock....as whatever has caused the reaction is still in your system. I have had anaphalaxis several times and sometimes not immediately...it has come on later. So please call NHS direct and at least get some proper advice from someone who really knows.

Second tablet helped and fell asleep. Wheezing away today. Still feel a wee bit itchy!

I've never had itchies before so I really don't know, it sounds possible though.
