My grandad

has been rushed into hospital after collapsing.
I'm scared the worst is going to happen

Oh no Yorkiegirl :( What has happened or don 't you know details, how old is he?

he's 84 (I think)
He has been visiting my aunties and went out to the car ready to drive home this afternoon, staggered back into the house and collapsed.

Oh Yorkie - I am sorry - hope he is okay. My granny is in hospital too .

I had such a lovely afternoon doing HF's CJ. Then my mum rang to tell me she was going down to see him in Rugby. Too far for me to go tonight.

Will someone keep you posted on any news as soon as they get it ?
I know how horrible you must feel, i was very close to my granddad, he was very poorly and passed away just over a year ago, absolutely heartbreaking.

working tomorrow then dentist at 1.40 for tooth out and filling
lovely day then. Just hope it doesn't get any worse

he has had a massive heart attack and is being moved to a hospital in Coventry which specialises in cardiac treatment. Anyone know which one?

hi just wanted to say im sorry for whats happened i live in coventry and my dad had three heart attacks in the space of a week and he was in coventry and warwickshire walsgrave hospital that the only one i can think of .

The cardiology unit is in Walsgrave hospital? could possibly be there ?.Sending best wishes to your grandad.

yes it is Walsgrave. I want to go and see him but its too far

hope you manage to see him to wish to make you worry or feel worse but my dad died after his third heart attack he had only been home two days hope your grandad gets the treatment he needs xx

Sorry to hear this, its a horrible horrible feeling when a loved one is very ill, even worse when you can't get there. I hope he is OK, thoughts are with you.

oh yorkie, what a night you have had, if hew is in a specialist cardiology unit, he will be getting the best treatment avaliable.

sorry, been at dentist and just got home.
Grandad had an angioplasty last night, stent fitted. They managed to get rid of all the cltos and the operation was a success. Not spoken to my mum since this morning but am presuming no news is good news.
