Does anyone have any info about this ? I'm scared about using antiperspirants/deodorants now !!
Also, I'm over 40 and am alarmed to see that breast screening is now recommended for 40+ year olds(not on the NHS). Scary ...

The Philippa coauthor -- she said that breast cancer is most commonly found in the left breast. This doesn't seem to fit with any other risk factor, but would fit if most right-handed people apply more deodorant, more thoroughly, under the left armpit.

Just noticed parabens in my favourite shampoo (Nutralia, pooh!), and Sainsbury's baby shampoo (Johnson & Johnson style), too.

Zebra, I've read a theory that the left-hand risk could be due to repeated minor trauma caused by right-handed partners favouring that side for fondling.

You ARE taking the piss, pls. tell me!

No, I'm not extracting the Michael, honestly, Zebra! I really have heard that theory; istr it was mentioned on Mumsnet ages ago, too. As to whether there's any truth in it...well, that's another matter entirely.

Just bought Infacol and noticed (only once I got home, must have been in a daze in the shop) it contains 2 types of parabens. Assume I should chuck it then?

WideWebWitch · 20/01/2004 14:04

at that theory Suedonim! Surely not?

Depends who you believe on this thread, WWW!
That's a painkiller, right? Can you take it back? Else, if it were me, I'd probably use it but not buy again.
