Hi, I've got a stinking cold (earache, sore throat, the works. Haven't had one this bad in years.) Tonight, I was sitting at the laptop (mumsnetting, obv) when I absentmindedly scratched what felt like an eyelash or something on my eyeball. Now, 2hours later I can't get the irritation to go away, it feels like there's somehting stuck under my eyelid, and my eye is weeping yellow-whiote gunk and is red and sore.
Is it more likely that I've got a viral conjunctivitis related to my mother of all bastarding cold, or that there actually is a foreign body in my eye that I need to have seen to?
