sorry for the question (tmi I'm sure) but I have had my second Mirena coil fitted a couple of weeks ago and within a day it felt like I was being "poked" and that the end of the threads were just outside of my vagina - I went back to the clinic and they scanned to ensure that it was still correctly fitted and wasn't being expelled, which it wasn't so they trimmed the length of the threads slightly but having had my first period, it is feeling like it is happening again. I was never able to feel anything with my first one so this seems odd but has anyone else experienced the same? I am going back for my check in a few weeks time so will ask again then but wanted to seek mn expert advice
