Itchy, painful skin all over but no rash.

Started a couple of weeks ago, piriton helped a bit. Went away after several days but is back again. There is no rash at all.

The itching is about bearable but skin feels prickly and painful all over. Nurse said to see doctor in a couple of days if it continues. Nothing on google is making me feel any better.

I feel crap any ideas?

I have had exactly this ! I think it might have been a side effect of a virus I had, but no rash at all. I was miserable.

Hope so. Mine lasted about a week and a half. Piriton and Night Nurse helped a lot.
