DH started the year with constant bad headaches. After 2 weeks, he was sent to see a neurologist who said he had horners syndrome, and did a MRI to find out why.
He has a carotid artery dissection. As the dr was explaining how this would be treated, DH collapsed and had a mild stroke.
He's recovering well, but still getting regular bad headaches which don't really go away with paracetamol. Nobody seems to know if this is caused by the stroke, the carotid dissection or the horners syndrome.
Apparently it's quite rare, so the GP has never seen this before, so she can't really answer all our questions.
I've found websites that explain what dh's condition is, but I can't find anywhere to explain how his recovery should be going, or why he's still getting headaches.
Feels like a bit of a long shot posting this here, but if anyone knows anything about this, please tell me what you know, or prod me in the right direction :)
