Hi, I've got a chest infection, started antibiotics today as I have respiratory complications. The doctor couldn't hear crackles on my lungs but I have dark green sputum so I think it's bronchitis.
Right now my temperature is 39.6 - that's after taking nurofen an hour ago. Earlier it was that high after paracetamol too.
The trouble is I feel so cold and know i shouldn't try and warm myself up but if I don't I feel so shivery and cold even though high temp, so I keep trying to get warm, which is obviously driving the fever up and increasing the shivering.
What should I do?
