tis me not either of the dd's to make a change.
woke up this morning with such tender/swollen neck glands. have taken ibuprofen, but it hurts a bit to swallow.
is it an infection or just tenderness when you get this? so do not want to be ill as have a big party to go to this weekend. Not sure whether to go to docs or just ride it through and hope it goes away?
anyone know?

Bagpuss I can sympathise - woke up with this yesterday and very sore throat. No better today so off to docs (like you made a change for it to be me not the DSs!). Dr took one look down my throat and said "well that's put me off my morning coffee!" So, a week's worth of penicillin for me - mind you hopefully I may lose some weight cos can only eat soft things or soup!!! Hope you feel better soon.

He also recommended taking soluble paracetomol to ease the pain.

Will see if it's any better tomorrow, then maybe take a visit to Doc. Hope you feel better too.
