Hernia repair through c section scar. Stomachs muscles stitched back together. Not assure. What I can and can't do?

Hi I have had 3 csections and my stomach muscles separated and there was a Small hernia. A week ago I had this repaired they went through the c sections scar and stitched up my stomach muscles and put mesh in . I have a 18 month old boy who is fairly solid and I am not lifting him but doing general household duties but just at my pace and not overdoing it. I am not sure whether I can push my little boy in the pram to and from school. My husband and friends did the school run this week but I have been in all week because of the snow and can't wait to do bit of walking. Any advice or website to look at on what I can and can't do? Thank you so much!

I had exactly the same 9 years ago, I wouldtreat it exactly the same as having a c section, or you will just end up needing another one!

Walking is good but not pushing a pushchair yet

How long would you wait before pushing a pram? I can't really go out and do anything with a 18 month old . Thank you

I think I would leave it at least 3 weeks post op, but the main thing is to be aware of how it feels and don't push yourself!
