Can you still have PMS while you're on the pill?

I would have thought the answer to this would be no, as the pill creates an artificial hormone cycle and so therefore your body doesn't know that you are about to come off it and your withdrawal bleed will occur.

However, I have noticed a few times now that as I'm about to stop taking it I'm very sad, tearful, headachey, irritable kind of PMS symptoms. It seems very strange as I haven't actually stopped taking it yet so could it be this or just a coincidence?

Any views?

Yes, you do & you can still get it in monthly flare ups when pregnant too - perhaps less so, but thats my experience of it

The Pill got rid of my PMT and heavy painful periods.
