I am on anti-biotics and i am pretty sure i have got thrush (i know anti-biotics can cause it) anyway i am DYING here, i am so itchy and sore down there.
I am of course going to the pharmacy tomorrowbut for now i can't and i was wondering if there was anything i could do to make me feel better until i get a treatment.
I have heard of using yogurt but i have some yogurt related issues (long story) so is there anything else i can use? If not, what type of yog, i can pop down the local late shop if needs be.
I am sitting here with my t-shirt and no underwear and at some point i think i am going to have to put my jeans back on and i don't want it to be so painful.

Oh and E can't catch it off me can she? I'm not breast feeding and she is 8 weeks.

Thanks!

cotton underwear, loose fitting clothing, cool baths
bio yoghurt...

Bio yogurt is supposed to be the thing, although I've not tried it myself. I would go for plain if you can (!). Eating it should also help (at least will help prevent further attacks). If you have any Canesten in the house try that. Also, some athlete's foot remedies might be suitable - read the leaflet. You might get Canesten AF in a supermarket if you have one nearby - it's the same as ordinary Canesten cream so could be used to ease your discomfort until you can get to a pharmacy.

There are some other threads on thrush which might be useful - I'll just have a look.

Poor you, thrush is vile
