Went to doctors, x ray and blood tests. Nothing wrong.
Learned to live with the very occasionally pain and discomfort.

Went back to doctors again when the symptoms changed and became more frequent.
They didn't have a clue and referred my to physio.

Exercises and stretches given and modified over a series of months depending on their effects.
Then they admitted they couldn't put their fingers on what was going on and bounced me back to the GP.

Thankfully, when I went to the GP they had already written to the hospital and I'm awaiting a letter from the orthopaedic dept. And not before time...

Unfortunately, instead of having problems 2 or 3 times a week it is now nearly every time I have to climb stairs, lift something heavy or rise from a chair or get out of my car. I don't know how long it will be before my appt comes through, but at least something is happeneing.
