Was there any pain? Bleeding after sex IS one of those things you are supposed to get checked out but it is often something minor.. I think cervical erosion is one of them.

I had a scary expereince a couple of years ago where during.. erm.. bedroom activity Blush (not actual penetrative sex, but... how is there a nice way to say this?? Blush.. well.. he was using his hand.. not his whole hand you understand...! Shock Oh this just gets worse!!).. and suddenly we both realised I was bleeding a LOT! I thought it was my period but it was too early.. and the bleeding stopping immediately and didn't resume the next day. I was a bit alarmed so I forced myself to go to my GP (who is a woman thank God!) and she explained to me (after I had forced out a similar description to the above but a little more graphic as was necessary!) that DH must have opened my cervix a little (!) and caused some of the blood (period that was "waiting") to leak out. She said that in light of recent normal smear, I should not worry and to resume sex after a few days.

Well I waited a couple of weeks or more.. but it never happened again.

Have you had a smear test since you had your baby? Were you doing anything particular vigourous or adventurous? (Excuse the question!)

You should maybe get this checked particularly if it happens again.

That sounds a bit more exciting than here.

NO it was a dull, boring quickie before children got up,nothing vigourous!!!!

Smear test since last pregnancy was fine, however i have had surgery on Cervix years ago...

I dont feel worried, its just out of the ordinary.
Think i may see if it happens again.

Thankyou for your advice at such a late hour
