These new deodorants, Trust, Driclor, etc. Any good?

That's it really. They're very expensive - Trust is over 8 quid for 15g., but if you only use it twice a week then presumably it would last a long time.

(DD and I use Bionsen atm.)

I don't know anything about Trust but driclor isn't new by any means. My brother has been using it for years. I'm pretty sure you use it alongside a deodorant as it just reduces perspiration. He swears by it and I'm on the verge of getting some for DS2

48 hour (or even once a week) products have been around since at least the 1960s (anyone remember the brand Cathy and Claire used to recommend? I think it began with a 'v' but the name eludes me).

They're generally stronger and longer lasting than the regular product, but actual time you can perceive an effect depends on your personal sweatiness levels.

It was vinden something. Vinden moss or vinden loss or a soundalike

Mitchum isn't bad

Linden Voss!

Thank you!

I use driclor and its great, been using it for over two years now because I suffer from excessive armpit sweating and driclor has changed my life, I can wear whatever I like and don't have any wet patches even when exercising. I only need to use it once a week now and just put on normal deodorant each morning. Before driclor I spent my life wearing black, had zero confidence and hated summer, I even sweated through jumpers and coats sometimes, to give you an idea how bad it was.

Hope that helps.

Blush I am very out of touch. Never heard of anything other than once a day deodorants before. They haven't had them in our local Boots before, not that I saw, anyway.

The woman in Boots said the Trust put a layer in your pits which lasted days, but wasn't sure how it worked. The box said it lasted 3-6 days and could be used from age 4!!!!
