Bloody fecking Hayfever!

It just arrived last night - whoompf! Just like that! Today I've been a useless snotbag walking around attacking my face, sneezing my guts out and dripping snot everywhere! So I took one of my pills I got from the pharmacist, 5.75 euros for 7 bloody tablets! They are supposed to last you all day and the pharmacist assured me that they were safe for driving.

I still have a runny nose and within an hour of taking it, I was crashed out on the sofa and I've just slept for an hour.

I bloody hate it!!!

Claritin always does it for me. You can get one w/a decongestant as well.

Ah yeah, am in France. We can't just pick up any Hayfever tablets over here or browse through the different brands, we have to ask the pharmacist to choose one. The one I got handed was Zyrtescet, 7 tablets. Even thought it has a piccy of a car in a warning triangle, she assured me that it was non-drowsy, which it clearly is!

oh crickey! Zyrtec always knocked me out completely. I took it once and had to go home from work in a taxi b/c I was in no state to drive.

Yeah, I'm thinking of going back to the pharmacist and telling her! I need one that is non-drowsy as I work in the city, a good hours drive sometimes, I need pills that will not inter with either my work or my driving. It's a good job I wasn't planning on driving anywhere today!

interfere that should have been, my mind told me that I had written the whole word when I hadn't! Must be the pills still!

Clarityn (Loratadine) (or desloratine) is the only thing that 'sort of' works for me (rather than do4esnt work at all)

Zirtec (cetirizine) which is "non-drowsy" knocks me right out!
