posted here recently about low ferritin; if I raise my ferritin, will my hair shedding definitely stop?

Having a very bad few days with flu, fever and lots of hair shedding. Not managed to hold down water let alone iron supplements.

But once I do raise my ferritin, will my hair shedding stop? I'm freaked out by it today. And stupidly did a google - the enemy - and read so much about hair carrying on shedding with elevated ferritin/ferritin taking years to rectify if at all/

How long will it take?
Thanks

I have a really rare chronic condition that means my ferritin and iron levels are off the charts, my hair still falls out, its just one of those things I've had to get used to because I can't do anything about it. I even spoke to my doctor about it who had to remind me that there are loads of other reasons as to why your hair falls out (stress, hormones, over styling etc), as long as your as healthy as you can be, I wouldn't worry about it.
