Door is open, come on in...

Grab your bucket and let's begin!

Yes, we have yet another D&V bug. Enough already!

Moo!

What happened to SL?

Oh yuck and sympathy btw x x x

marthamoo · 11/04/2006 15:55

I got fed up of saying SorenLorensen-who-used-to-be-marthamoo. I wish I'd thought of SL first (ie., before Lauren Childs Grin) but...I feel like a moo, not a Soren, I have to say.

Yes it's a PITA - it's 7 weeks since the last one, and it's been poor ds2 both times.

marthamoo · 11/04/2006 16:00

We have a bit of sun now, after it poured all morning and afternoon...can't go out anyway so what does it matter ?

Oh no...feeling for you it was us last week yet againAngry.
Both ds have had it last week now ds1 is just ill with headaches and ds2 has tonsilitis. They were sick everywhere
most rooms were christened the garden and of course the car to boot....all I can smell sick...have hired a carpet cleaner today and going through the house. Am nearly done just the landing and one bedroom left to go...then need to go out and buy a new duvet. Gave up trying to clean the last one, its actually cheaper to buy a new one than it is to get it cleanedShock

marthamoo · 11/04/2006 16:05

Ds2 is a star at getting it in a receptacle (lots of practice I suppose) but the house still smells funny.

Am glad to see the Moo back, although I liked you as SL but kept getting you confused with starlover when shortened Grin

Am wondering whether DS1 has this bug again - he's had four dirty nappies yesterday and today (he's usually a one-a-day boy) and they've been...messy... Oh feck, can't face sicking toddler again!

Hope yours is much better very soon, Moo.

This is our fourth or even fifth week of sickness! First dd, then dh, then ds, then dh again, then me, now waiting for dd again as she drank out of a cup that ds had dribbled in whilst he was still sick!

In our case though, it's grab all the clean undies you can find, cause you're gonna need them!

marthamoo · 11/04/2006 21:58

I threw a pair of ds2's away today - just couldn't face them. He had a terrible D&V bug around 7 weeks ago - was so poorly, and has looked washed out and ill ever since. So far though - touch wood - the rest of us have escaped. It's awful when you're all ill - we had a summer holidays like that once, Rhubarb - six weeks of one or all of us puking etc., we didn't really leave the house for 6 weeks, it was the pits.
