Has anyone had this horrid virus - nausea, headaches, stomach cramps?

Wondering how long it lasts?

DD (5) had it for almost a week.

Oh no - mine started sunday!! I'm exhausted but hoping to go back to work tomorrow, would that be stupid?

We've all had it, plus fever, diarrhoea and/ or vomiting (different for different family members, some have had one or the other, some both). It has lasted between 24 hours (DS1 - though he is still tiring more easily on day 4) and 5 days (DH), my toddler still seems to have it at the end of his day 5.

So there is no answer.

Our virus might not be exactly the same one of course, as we are in Germany, but these things travel so fast with the amount people travel that odds are it is the same thing.

Loads of our patients have had it- some literally 24 hours, others nearly 2 weeks! hope you feel better soon...

I think I may have it, although not so much the headaches. Dd1 had it last week from wed - sat although was much better friday onwards. Dd2 may have it but she only 2 so hard to say. She's got chronic wind with it too & I am feeling really bloated with it.

I've got it, am on day 3 and have to go to work tomorrow, so have been sleeping as much as poss to hopefully get rid.
Am definitely not feeling like i might pass out when i stand up today, but still feel wiped out though.

Came on to ask a similar thing. Started as a cold, got a.bit better then a 6 days ago a sky high temperature. I have a hacking cough. And whenever I have eaten I get a stomach ache and feel bloated. Im not even eating half my usual amount yet feel as if I have had a huge meal.
There has also been a uti (but guessing that is a separate thing)

Hoping to go out tomorrow as it's ds's school play, he wants me to sit at the front but will have to be near the door in case i start coughing and need to go out.

Had it for about a week before it finally went. It started with just general fatigue, feeling nauseous, and stomach cramps; after a couple of days I was into the full-blown vomiting, diarrhoea, etc etc, and ended up spending the best part of a weekend in bed (and bathroom).

I started coming down with a sore throat sunday. Went to work mon but had to come home at lunchtime. By tea time I had a raging temp shivering, couldn't swallow, bones aching.
Since Tuesday morning it's got gradually better. So i got up and dressed today only to find I've got the shits so I still can't go anywhere. I had been feeling nauseous too- I very rarely vomit (about twice in my life apart from 2 9 month periods of puking all day everyday!). So usually when I feel nauseous, other people are puking their guts up.

I've got really bad stomach ache now and my piles.... If nothing else then this bug is the kick I need to go and get those sorted in the new year.
