Why do you NEED three doses of DPT to develop immunity?????

Can you develop immunity after 2? Anyone with a scientific bent?

the short answer is yes. however there is no way of knowing usless you have your titre levels checked and even then, these levels do not give a accurate picture of immune status for life. it may need to be repeated along with the booster.

My GP once told me "Two should probably do it". I don't think it is an exact science.

but i guess three shots don't give immunity for life either? that why they have the booster later? And i suppose it varies from immune system to immune system..
