my 14 week old dd has recently begun frantically rubbing ears in evening is this a sign of tiredness/teething? She has no signs of illness but is dribbling like mad!

my dd used to frequently pull at her ears when she was tired/overtired. The fact your lo does it in the evening does suggest that tiredness is the likely cause. They do dribble at this age as their salivary glands start to work - not necessarily a sign of teething/illness

i think they just start to find bits of themselves, around this age.

It could be a sign of tiredness, teething an ear infection or as zebraz says.

Is it both ears or just one?
