quick question

dp has been prescribed antibiotics by dentist but his mouth is throbbing can he take pain killers aswell as taking antibiotics.
if yes are any he should avoid?

as far as im aware yes, but how old is he?
if in doubt ring gp to check, chemist or nhs direct(0845 47647)
my dd almost 3 takes both when on antibiotics.

I think Ibuprofen should be fine (they seem to be fine with most things) and shoudl be just the thing for that throbbing type of pain - just follow pack instructions

oh well yeah definatly, get him max dose and poor thing should feel better.
if not would see dentist/gp for advice?Smile

What has he had done ? Nurofen should be ok or if really back can be prescribed something stronger like Voltarol which dh took after wisdom teeth extractions. gp gave a repeat prescription.
