Chiropodist who would do a home visit in Dorset

Hi
My mother is 89 and really really hates me driving her to a chiropodist. Does anyone live in the Dorset/South Someset area and know of a chiropodist who does home visits? I can't neglect her but the arguments are getting me down!

I don't live in your area but certainly round here there are a number of domiciliary chiropodists because older people can't always get themselves around easily. Suggest you try searching for chiropodists (often known as podiatrists) these days in your area in google and look at a few websites. Even if they don't say they do domiciliary visits some of them may do, if you ask.

Thank you. What is the difference between a chiropodist and a podiatrist?

Think they're the same thing really .... podiatrist tends to be the word that they prefer. I think it reflects the fact that they do far more than just dig out a few corns and scrape off hard skin and are real foot experts when it comes down to it.
