I've been on iron tablets for the last few weeks. I didn't really feel like they were helping so when they were running low I just let them run out and didn't bother getting any more. However, since I've stopped them and they've come out of my system I've felt really tired and run down again (please excuse the fact I'm posting at 2am - I'm not normally up this late, I just got caught up in the internet!) and I think actually they were making a difference.
So, I'd like to get the prescription repeated but it seems such a faff, with the phoning up in the exact window I'm trying to hurry DS into some clothes and out of the door in the morning, and I feel like I would be wasting the doctor's time getting an appointment just for this. Is there another way to get a repeat prescription? They're not standard iron tablets you can buy in a pharmacy but Ferranate 300mg. (stronger I think?)

Can I get a repeat prescription without making an appointment to see my GP?
