So, where is my period and do I need to see my GP?

I have a 32 day cycle and my period is always on time. It is now 10 days late. I had a tiny bit of blood/bloody discharge/spotting around the time my period was due, but it was literally once when I wiped (sorry, TMI!) and nothing since or before.

Pregnancy tests say not pregnant.

I took cerazette for a month before my last period, but have had a normal period since then. I also had two LLetz procedures, which can apparently mess your cycle up a bit.

I keep getting crampy, but nothing else.

Do I just wait? At what point should I see the GP? It's driving me mad as we want to TTC next month.

Since you want to start trying for a baby I would stop taking the pill and take another test in a few days.

Thanks for replying.

I stopped taking the pill before my last period, otherwise I would have put this down to that.

My sister wondered if the small bit of bleeding/spotting I did have could have been a 'period', but I'm not sure really.

I think it's very unlikely I am pregnant tbh.

More likely to be an implantation bleed than a period tbh.

Thankyou. I suppose that is possible, although I have never had an implantation bleed before. (lots of babies/pregnancies) If it was that it would be about 10 days ago though, so wouldn't I get a BFP by now? Confused

Having read online it seems auterine or cervical infection could cause a delay, so I may go to the GP on Monday just in case as would be at higher risk of infection after the LLetz procedure.

Thanks again.

I have had 4 pregnancies and only 1 inplantation bleed with dc2.
