Painful tongue with spots - Dd1 and myself...

Dd1 is 5yo and has been complaining that her tongue hurts. Tonight I noticed she has loads of white spots on it.

My tongue hurts and feels swollen and I have one spot on it.

Is it thrush? I will go to the doctors tomorrow but thought I would ask if anyone else has had it. Is it contagious?

hand foot and mouth maybe? Any temperature or spots anywhere?

Do you know, my dd2 has a rash on her mouth. Damn it, I will go and carefully check their hands and feet....

No spots anywhere else. Dd2's is dry skin and her tongue is fine.

Dd1's tongue is covered in these white spots. Her throat looks quite red.
