it's not really that he's refused to understand asthma, he's never met any1 with asthma before me. that's why i made him watch the prog Grin and he's going to watch the next1 as well Grin Grin

i would love to have wooden floors, so i don't see why they're complaining. as for that woman who said "ooh, that looks nice!" grrrrr it's not a fashion statement mrs, it's changing your present flooring for the good of your kids health Angry

Anyone watch part 2? It was more of the same and not surprisingly all the kids benefitted especially those whose parents could be bothered with the regime. One parent even got the cat back and within 30 seconds the son was sneezing. Also felt abit miffed about why the woman couldn't get rid of her dog. I know it's a family pet and very much loved etc etc - but what wbout the health of your daughter, surely that must come first? Even the uncle had offered to take it and the mum said no!

i really struggled when i admitted that we needed to get rid of our cat when dd1 was little. it broke my heart (we'd had the cat since he was a kitten and he was my baby), but knew it had to be done. dd1 has asthma and eczema. We also bought a dyson and hoovered every day. These days my whole home is laminate flooring and easy clean fabrics. for years i wouldnt have curtains, but i now have them, they just have to be washed often. i have allergy bedding on dd1 and 2 beds, clean in there as often as possible and am thinning out their soft toys.

Watched with interest at what should be done and am glad to say we are mainly on the right track. Our ds has been hospitalised twice only in 10 years not even recently and we were given lots of info to help us so I thought it might be standard.
