Boyfriend has molluscum contagiosum, how at risk am I and dd?

He found 3 spots on his penis and pubic area, after a visit to the gum centre they diagnosed molluscum contagious. Basically wondering how much of a risk is there of this spreading to dd and I...

I've read various things online but there is a lot of conflicting advice.

Well I would say there is a large risk with it being genital there will be a lot of open contact through sex.

My children have had this, I think there is nothing you can do to prevent other people catching, the spots lasted many months but they didn't seem to matter to anyone,it didn't seem to be a problem, I got some on my arm which stayed for over a year, they didn't bother me.
