Advice on poo colour

I'm really sorry to do this so early in the morning... DS2 is 14 months and for the last week or so his poos have been greenish. This morning it was a definite dark green - not even verging on khaki. In my experience, this isn't normal - he hasn't had anything overly green (he did have some broccoli for dinner but he has that most nights). He has had a bit of a cold. Should I be worried?

Probably related to his cold - mucous etc. I wouldnt worry too much if he seems okay but could be a sign of infection. If his cold gets worse and poo remains green I would see GP then. HTH. Smile

Normally this can be caused by too much green veg, but also by eating something with lots of blue colouring.
DD chomped her way through a pack of blue coloured shoelaces (the sweetie kind) and had green poo for a day!
