Changing mole on 7 month head - worrying???

Am sure I'm being paranoid and there is some good baby health explanation but my 7 mo ds has a v dark mole/freacle/mark on the top of his head which seems to have appeared from nowhere and is now growing (v v slightly over a few days) with lighter brown round the the main dar brown bit. Anyone had this before? The skin cancer alarm bells are ringing but SURELY a 7mo can't get skin cancer....

I think moles etc will grow on little children, ds had one on his back which grew with him but that isn't definitive knowledge

Have a quick word with your HV or GP. I'm sure that it isn't anything to worry about, but they are the people best qualified to put your mind at rest
