She might be getting a cold - my lot always seem a little less fragrant when they are coming down with something and their breath can def smell of blocked up nose. Yuck.

Either that or it's the garlic bread you gave her last night. Grin

podkin · 04/04/2006 15:16

i can cope with garlic breath. I think she might be brewing up a cold as she is a bit out of sorts today.

What do smelly boggies mean?

MrsBadger · 04/04/2006 15:18

If nose is blocked you breathe through your mouth more, leading to drier mouth, hence less saliva to wash away normal mouth bacteria, hence pong.
Cold brewing sounds about right.

wilbur · 04/04/2006 15:19

Sounds like it, poor lamb. Ds2 (7 months) is very snuffly at the moment and keeps rolling over in the night and getting welded to sheets by his nose. He doesn't smell too good either. FWIW, I think how a person smells is greatly linked to health - they have those sniffer dogs that can detect all sort of illness, don't they? I rememebr reading an article about it.

dd2 reeks atm

when she was in our bed (again) the other night I had to move her face the othe way, lol

monkeytrousers · 04/04/2006 15:21

Aw the poor mite. I love my baby's breath, pongy or otherwise Smile and his bogies!

jellyjelly · 04/04/2006 15:24

ds get abd breathe when coming down with something but whatabout the boggies, no other symptons just really really smelly boggies?

podkin · 04/04/2006 15:26

Great - another sleepless few nights then...poor mite. She is off her milk a bit and I think she is constipated. Have to lay off the bananas (again !)

jellyjelly - might be infected sinuses? They usually make breath smell too though.

marthaplatypus · 04/04/2006 16:40

I can sympathise with podkin. Both my girls (2 and 10 months) have bad breath - cold or otherwise. Any ideas why and what I can do?

jellyjelly · 04/04/2006 16:43

ds gets it if i miss his back teeth so now i check everyday that there isnt plaque on his teeth. I also brush his tongue.

Chapsmum · 04/04/2006 16:48

At 6 months would suspect it was a sign of a sore throat or cattarh.
