DS constant cold/chest infections - what to do?

DS hasn't had any of the 12 month+ vaccines due I 2 house moves and a series of chest infections. Every time I book an appointment to get them done the receptionist asks if he's ill and I say he has a cold so she tells me to ring back once it's cleared up, except it's been 3 months...

The GP, when we've been about his chest infections, also said to Di then when he's better but how better is better?

with my DS, we had an agreement with the practise that we could take him in spontaneously when he had a healthy week and that worked.
