Differentiating between winter vomiting bug and late pregnancy symptoms TMI alert

This should perhaps be in pregnancy. Am now 38+3 and managed to catch winter vomiting bug last week fairly mild dose only really a day of proper vomiting/ cramps (Thursday) followed by a few days of explosive diarrhoea. I do think I should be on the mend now (and I am feeling better) but have developed fairly severe acid reflux/ nausea/ heartburn and my stomach is still fairly dodgy although did have a fairly solid poo this morning (apologies for TMI) but has reverted this evening.

I think last pregnancy at this stage I was necking gaviscon direct from the bottle and had a dodgy tummy too I went into labour at 39wks. So not sure I'm ever going to be 100% till post baby. Is there any way to tell if your still properly ill or are just experiencing the joys of pregnancy?

My labour started with diarrhoea and vomiting! I presume you've been checked out by delivery triage or similar? I was 1cm dilated after d+v then proceeded to have 4 days of latent stage of labour.

My last labour kicked off with D and V too so I assumed I was going into labour but I'm feeling better and DS now has it and it's doing the rounds so it's likely it's a bug. Midwife thinks as long as I'm hydrated and baby is moving it's not a problem. I just don't want to be a typhoid mary but I have loads left to do before baby and I'm not sure whether just to get on with things...

Crikey hope I'm not in labour for four days though
