both my children have had the MMR, neither suffered any ill effects from it.
I know that i will probably be hung for saying this, but i will always trust medical advice over what other mums think, they know more than us after all.
Plus all the hype was over ONE study, think of all the children that have had MMR with no problems.
Please try not to worry.

(will cower now and wait for the onslaught!!Wink)

if only i could turn back time then my DS would not have had the MMR, my DS changed overnight after his MMR and i am convinced it was the trigger for his autism

my dd2 won't be having hers, neither did dd1.Single jabs or nothing.

he'll be fine. all the research shows MMR is safe for all but a tiny minority of children. and it's not completely proved that it's dangerous for that tiny minority anyway. if you've got auto-immune disease in close relatives personally I'd be cautious. but 99.9 per cent of kids are fine. (that's coming from someone who had single jabs and feels a bit embarrassed about it)
