21 week old ds with cough

Hello everyone,
my 21week old ds has a cough and is gradually getting worse... He hasnt got a temp though...
I dont know what I should do, Im going to take him doc tomorrow, but does ne1 have any advice as to what I should do; whether I should give him any calpol or anything?

I think you can use benelyn (sp) for coughs from 3 months, ask the pharmacist, did the cough come with a cold, if not it may be croup, quite common and not serious, they usually sound like a dog barking, but always a good idea to visit the gp, just to put your mind at rest.

sanatogen vitamin syrup is fab.
it is basically glycerol (childrens cough medicine) with added vitamins 2.5mls before bed.
Our chaps cough cleared up after 2 days with it.
try raising the head of his bed. damp towels over the radiaor.
take him into the bathroom when your having a shower so he can breath in the steam.
definately have his chest listened to if your worried, and if that is ok try the above
