My DD had her flu jab yesterday she has had it in previous years. She said all day her arm is achy which i know is normal and she has been tired and complaining of a poorly head. I have given calpol. However when i just put her in her pjs the jab site is very red and swollen quite a large area of her arm is raised and red.

Does this sound normal??? It's never happened before?!?

it does sound like a vaccine reaction. You can cool the injection site, but if it doesn't look better this morning, take her in to be seen, just to exclude an infection at the injection site. My son had something similar with his last dTaP and it lasted a couple of days. The arm was tender for about a week.
