I've just started giving my 18m old dd some omega 3 fish oil from boots and it smells absolutely foul !!! it's supposed to be orange flavoured but excuse me I don't think so !! After seeing my dd's face I don't think she'll agree to another spoonful ! Do your lo's take it with pleasure ?

Can't you just squeeze a bit of fish into her mouth?

fredly · 29/03/2006 15:01

If I could I wouldn't give her the oil...

there are foods that are high in omega 3...

will she not eat fish at all?
organic milk has omega 3 in it

flax seeds and walnuts are high in omega 3, as is tofu and all winter squashes.

in fact, flax seeds and walnuts are HIGHER in omega 3 than fish

you'd think i could've put this in one post wouldn't you? lol

salmon has omega 3... nice in a fish pie if she won't eat it by itself, add some prawns/shrimp and you're well away!

Sardines mashed into tomato pasta - I do this for dd and ds and they never know it's there!
